Thoughts

To all the family, All the Comber and Justice family's thoughts and prayers are with you as you negotiate the next part of life without dear Maureen. My family was only able to spend time with her once during each trip to England, but we all have fond memories of those visits. My dad and Mary Pat always liked visiting with her when they were in England. And I have many, very fond memories of aunt Maureen from my youth, as well - She was a wonderful aunt and a master cake decorator. I loved sampling the decorations when she would allow! Since our last visit in 2015, I have enjoyed many hours in conversation with aunt Maureen about all manner of things, but especially the family. I will miss those chats very much. All our love to you in this hard time. Geoffrey, Debi, Alexander, Joshua, James, Jaden and Mary Pat

Nana, It seems so strange that you’ve gone, it felt like you would be with us forever, a stable, quiet presence, always there, always knowing. Like Jen, I remember Christmas games and homemade plays, playing in the garden, going down the ‘secret’ side path of the house, waving goodbye to you and Grandad long after the road was out of sight. I remember sitting in our old lounge making a patchwork sewing box for Mum.. happy memories which make up a childhood... not to mention the Sunday crossword, though I do remember you getting a little cross as I used to say the clue, but then get the number of letters for the answer wrong and everyone would sit for ages thinking of a word that couldn’t actually fit !! Memories I cherish and hold dear to me. I hope you are at peace, playing boules with Grandad in a beautiful garden. You will be missed by us all, but held very close to us forever. Love you lots, Pam, Ben, Lizzie and Daniel x x x
